The taste and smell of autumn

Writer: david daluzdavid daluz

As the season changes, so do our taste buds. Autumn brings out a sense of homey foods like stews and especially soups. The smell of a braised short rib stew brings me back to my home. The anticipation of homemade chili and jalapeño cornbread excites my taste buds. There is nothing like a hot bowl of beef cabbage soup with homemade biscuits. Butternut squash bisque as well. Let’s not forget homemade white sweet potatopie. So as the leaves fall and the nights are bit chilly, don’t forget to reunite with fall and all of the incredible delights it has to offer your pallet.
