With my Cape Verdean and Cape Cod roots, I craft every meal as a celebration of flavor, showcasing the finest locally sourced and organic ingredients. I strive to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, so you can unwind and cherish every moment with your loved ones, while I handle the kitchen—because you truly deserve it!
Experience
Growing up with 5 siblings, David learned his way around the kitchen, which led to pursuing a deeper understanding of cuisine. Following this tasteful passion, David was mentored by a top graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, to later co-operating a catering company in Boston, MA for 7 years. For a 2-year span, they were the exclusive caterers for the Boston Concert on the Common – servicing backstage guest such as BB King, George Benson, Whitney Houston, Doug Flutie, Marvin Hagler, and Jack Nicholson to name a few. David has also dwelled with the likes of the Boston Mayor’s Office, private bank investors, and yacht events. Upon relocating to Sedona, David switched gears to manage a restaurant and a budding family. He later moved into timeshare, becoming the top producer of Sales – this sparked creativity in the kitchen and led to sharing meals with his clients. As opportunity presented itself, David began private dining experiences for his clients and grew to servicing visitors across Sedona, Prescott, Flagstaff, Scottsdale and Phoenix.

It’s obvious that he has earned his name as Chef David Delights because he has a warm, fun, and lively personality plus an artistic magic with fresh food that is delicious, filling and appealing for everyone. He made the best Chocolate Decadent dessert that any of us have ever had before. Our appetizers included Stuffed Zucchinis and a Chicken Stir Fry that were a meal in themselves. Our entrée of Short Ribs with a rich Gravy, Potatoes, Vegetables and Cornbread all melted in our mouths, Plus, there were plenty of leftovers to keep us happy for several days afterwards. I highly recommend Chef David. He was a stand out during our vacation in Sedona!”
